BC Pro Staff

Meet the boys of the Bass Chronicles Pro Staff;

Sammy "Slammin" Anderson- Slammin is known by many names; The Hammer of Ham Lake, The Duke of Drop Shot, Hook Set Hulkster....all of his well deserved monikers all lead to the same conclusion, Slammin is one of the most naturally gifted anglers I've fished with. He can tell you the what, where, when and how of every fish he's caught, ever. He is a walking wikipedia of fishing knowledge. Sammy currently holds the title for the largest bass caught by a Team Patience member, a 7.12lbs Largemouth Bass caught on Lake Fork.

Josh "Joshy" Anderson- Some say he invented the jointed crank bait. It's also believed that his name means Rapala. Sampson had his hair, Thor a hammer, for this skilled angler his weapon of choice is a spinning rod. No matter the situation you'll find Josh wielding a 7ft spinning rod as deftly as Picaso wielded a paint brush. You haven't seen pin point casting until you've fished with Josh. A recent convert to Bass fishing, he has begun to build up his tackle arsenal to include several go-to baits and techniques well beyond lindy rigging.  Based upon his success fishing in the pads last season he might be on the verge of a new nickname.

Drew "Tuna" Bodin- With a nickname like that it's obvious that Drew is a fish slayer....right? Truth be told Tuna has come a long way since joining BC Pro Staff. To his credit he took the title at the first annual Anderbrodton Classic on Lake Vermilion. Rumor has it that the secret lure was picked out by Josh but that can't be confirmed. Drew brings much need humor to Team Patience by often times purchasing the "next great Bass lure" which on more than one occasion turned out to be terminal tackle for walleye fishing. But make no mistake, this angler is irreplaceable on Team Patience.

Jeremy "Rudy" Thornton- Well apparently I'm 5 foot nothing, a hundred and nothing. Believe you me, I'm well north of a hundred pounds. I've been fishing since I was a kid, harkening back to when my Dad would take me up north for Walleye opener. But my passion for Bass fishing is relatively new. I can't say there was a single mountain top moment that trigger my "obsession" with bass fishing but probably just a hundred little things along the way. Stuff that continues to solidify my passion for fishing.  I'm responsible for providing most of the content found on The Bass Chronicles......and come to think of it I also provide the boat, tackle, gas, tow vehicle, extra rain gear, life jackets, sinkers......you get the point.

Jr. Members;

Caden "Smalls" Thornton- This young angler represents the future of the BC Pro Staff. Cade has already logged hundreds of hours on the water bagging Bass, Sunny's, northerns and walleye. At the ripe age of 9, smalls is honing his craft with the rod and reel. He will be making his first appearance at the Anderbrodton Classic this year.
